Space in the United Nations context

This lecture discusses the work of the United Nations (UN), as conducted by its Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPOUS) which was established in 1959, and its Scientific and Technical Subcommittee and its Legal Subcommittee. Emphasis is placed on the work of the UN today which adds value to the space community, particularly with respect to developing countries.
